Kills female

mosquitoes and

their larvae:

reduces mosquito

populations

by over 80%

Saving lives from the deadly threat of mosquito-borne illness — that's the heart of our mission at Biotraps. We envision a world where families no longer fear diseases like Dengue, Malaria, Chikungunya, Zika, West Nile and Yellow Fever.

The Biotraps journey began in 2016 with the creation of the world’s first biodegradable mosquito killer, developed in partnership with the Dengue Action Response Team in Queensland, Australia.

What makes Biotraps unique is our commitment to both people and the environment. Our traps are environmentally conscious, affordable, and offer a lasting solution for mosquito control, designed to minimize impact on ecosystems. With Biotraps, we’re not just eliminating mosquitoes—we’re also working to build healthier, safer communities.

HOW THEY WORK

vecteezy_business-infographic-template-design-with-connected-circle_19599829.png

Targets female mosquitoes by

mimicking the ideal breeding environment.

Female mosquitoes land to lay their eggs and die when they come into contact with the insecticide.

Any eggs that are laid are also eliminated by the Biotrap.

Lasts up to 1 month; after this time, the product will leak out the water.

No recollection is necessary; there is no danger

of the pot becoming a breeding ground.
